We have been a place of authentic life change for thousands seeking hope in the midst of struggle and finding that hope in Jesus Christ.
Our unique small group process and curriculum work together to address emotional needs, build resilience and hope, overcome unspoken loss and disappointment, cope with stress, and discover our inherent value.
From the very beginning of our lives, we experience deeply painful losses that shape our story and life circumstances. Our lives are affected by grief caused by intangible losses such as unfulfilled dreams, unmet expectations, loss of innocence, trust, possessions, or self-esteem, as well as tangible losses such as finances, health, work, relationships, community, or death. Have you truly allowed yourself to grieve all your losses? Do you feel how today’s losses become painful reminders of past ones? Do lingering sorrow or resentment keep you from living life to the fullest? In Journey to a New Beginning After a Loss, you will receive tools to:
• Work through sadness, anger, disgust, resentment, or loneliness connected to past or present loss
• Identify losses that have accumulated over the years and need resolution
• Allow yourself to move through the stages of grief for each loss that has impacted your life
• Understand the true meaning of forgiveness and embrace it
Our main and the biggest project, Journey to Freedom groups are where people can change their lives and start trusting God. An eight-week course led by trained facilitators, offering a safe and encouraging place for participants to step out of contemplating changes into real action. With honest dialogue directed towards laying a foundation for change, Journey to Freedom creates a common language so that all can share without fear of judgment.

Not many people in Ukraine have experience in participation in any small groups so this program is life changing for many of them.
Courses are offered several times each year in our offices as well as via Zoom. We also run Journey to Freedom groups in Ukrainian prisons for men, women, and teenagers. This experience is special because God is working through these hard circumstances that brought them to prison. Even in a prison, they are given hope from God.

This is our common war!
And it is our shared responsibility to preserve respect, love and acceptance for people whose families have been affected by the war. We strive to create a circle of trust where mothers and wives of our defenders can share their special stories and be heard.
We are proud of their strength and courage, but we understand that they also need care and support.
Weekly meetings with a psychologist-moderator will help them to acquire skills of coping with stress, relaxation (psychological relief), resource search, and growth in stress resistance, and we want to give them an understanding of God’s love and security for them in the most difficult times.
Our program aims to show the younger generation the possibility of healthy intersexual relationships, the value of abstaining from sexual contact in premarital relationships. Often, young people in Ukraine are limited in their knowledge of the elementary rules of safe relationships, not observing them in their families. In an interesting interactive form, a cycle of seminars is held, where we discuss “sensitive” topics:
We talk about the reasons why teenagers decide to have sex, about the benefits of abstinence. Not a ban, but an agreement to wait. Often, for the first time, children hear that God is the author of sexuality and sexual relationships, but at the same time, He also sets the boundaries of safety in His values.
Teenage pregnancy in the vast majority of cases leads to abortion, disease or destroyed opportunities. We talk about the importance of understanding the consequences for both the girl and the guy, and the value of life that God gives. Our goal is to show the need for abstinence as a healthy choice in the physical and emotional spheres.
We teach them to articulate their personal boundaries and values, maintain composure and respect, recognize pressure and manipulation, and respond appropriately to make the right choice.
Our bodies are also important. This course is aimed at working with our perception of our body and a healthy lifestyle. It is divided into 2 parts – exercise and conversation in group with book discussion.
How do I find balance in the weight loss race?
How do I not base my value on appearance?
How do I really see myself?
How do I maintain a healthy approach and consistency on the way to a healthy lifestyle?
How are bulimia and anorexia associated with a psychological condition?
This brings the reality and possibilities to the group and of course, adds lots of fun!
